What is the mix ratio?
The mix ratio of Art Epoxy is 2:1 (2 parts A to 1 part B).
Does it have an odor?
Casting Resin is a 100% solids epoxy with zero VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), meaning no harmful odors or solvents.
Does it come in colors?
Casting Resin is a crystal clear product and is not available in color from Superior Manufacturing, however, it can be tinted with your own pigments.
Is it UV stable?
This product is not UV stable on its own and may yellow in direct sunlight. Use our Water-based Urethane Coating as a topcoat to add UV stability.
What sizes are available?
Casting Resin is available in the following kit sizes: Gallon + Half Gallon Kit, Half Gallon + Quart Kit. Please contact us for volume discounts.
How thick can this coating be applied?
This coating is meant for thick coats over 1/16″. Check out our ClearTop Epoxy or Art Epoxy for a thinner coating.
What is the cure time?
This product cures in 36-48 hours at room temperature depending on the mass.
